If you want to enjoy a relaxing trip that allows you to feel pampered, consider taking a cruise through the Caribbean while enjoying delicious cuisine on the ship. You can also find a cruise somewhere else in the world; European cruises are incredibly popular and usually travel through the rivers across the continent. Cruise ships allow you to avoid having to travel on planes and can make the trip more enjoyable from beginning to end. Most cruise ships have an endless amount of on-board activities you can participate in while traveling.

Getting a firsthand look at the Seven Wonders of the World helps you learn more about the history of the ancient world. You can tour the pyramids, the Taj Mahal, Machu Picchu, and the Colosseum. While some of the original Wonders are no longer standing, the new ones can all be seen. Most are located near other great sites as well, so take your time while traveling.
Spend time in paradise
Escape to paradise and take a dip in turquoise waters at destinations that include Fiji, Bora Bora, and St. Barts. You can lay out on white sand with a drink in your hand and bask in the warm weather. Tropical destinations make it easy to take a dinner cruise out on the water or attend a luau that creates a memorable vacation and make you to feel rewarded during your retirement.
Find romance in Europe
You can take an extended trip to Europe where you fall in love with the cobblestone streets and historic architecture present on the buildings lining the streets. After taking a plane to somewhere in Europe, you can take short flights or the train to neighboring countries that include Norway, Italy, France, and many others. You’ll get the chance to indulge in cheese, bread, and pasta at many of the local eateries.
Take a road trip
Consider taking a long drive to explore the coast in California or ride along the historic Route 66 in Middle America. You can meet new people along the way and stop at well-known attractions that allow you to stay busy and see plenty of sites. Plan out your route to see the sites or towns you’re most interested in and then drive away.
